Earning money and saving the environment makes this the best business to be in.
The Business Opportunity :
This is not a get-rich-quick project. You could get rich doing this, but it will not happen quickly. It takes work, commitment and follow-up.
Here's the proposition :
We make a great line of cotton bags, apparels, garments, baby wear, yoga wear, aprons, caps, bed linen, kitchen linen and other promotional items in India. Our manufacturing costs are lower so we are able to offer them at relatively modest prices. Our location in India makes it difficult for us to effectively market our bags.
We need partners located closer to our markets (US, Canada, Europe, Australia, NZ, Japan, South Africa). Our partners stand to earn nice revenues. There is plenty of demand for these products and our prices are lower than your local competitors can offer.
What is the business?
Selling cotton bags, apparels, garments, baby wear, yoga wear, aprons & caps. We manufacture them in India. We need folks to help us locate, approach and sell to customers.
Do I need much business experience?
Experience is helpful, but a willingness to get on with it is even more important. We'll be happy to share our experience with you and guide you as much as we can.
What will I need?
Not much. You'll need to make a list of potential customers (we'll help), get a set of samples to show them and you'll be set to go.
Do I need a website?
Not really. You can use our website as your catalog, create a replica on your own site or even on a freebie site, but it isn't absolutely necessary.
What kind of investment would I need to make?
Very little. You should order a sample set to have with you when you meet a customer. It costs just $ 150 and is easily worth it, because folks love when they can look at them and feel the quality for themselves. If you'd like to be a bit more pro-active, you could order maybe 1000 pieces (combiming bags, tees, aprons, etc) to be imprinted with your own name and phone numbers and send them out as mailers. This gets a great response and costs very little (write in and we'll work it out in detail with you).
Who buys these bags? apparels/yoga wear? aprons, caps & promo stuff?
Lots of folks. Anyone who can use the publicity generated by someone walking around with a bag displaying their logo or name is a buyer. This includes most retailers, folks who participate in trade shows, people who are organizing conferences, screen printers - lots and lots of market segments buy these products. Write to us. Well brief you in greater detail.
Can this be a big business?
Yes. This is a very large market. The US itself consumes 15 billion dollars worth of promotional merchandise every year. Promo products carry a company's name, logo or message; as part of their marketing and communication programs. When distributed free they are called advertising specialties, when given as an incentive for a specific action are known as premiums. They can be used alone, or integrated with other media, in limitless ways. Popular programs are Business/Executive Gifts; Employee Relations/Recognition; Travel or Safety Programs; and at Trade Shows to generate booth traffic. Promo products are also effective for dealer/distribution programs; co-op programs; company or corporate stores; generating new customers or new accounts; nonprofit fundraising; public awareness campaigns; and for promotion of brand awareness and brand loyalty. Other uses include employee incentive programs; new product or service launches; and marketing research for survey and focus group participants.
